The Laboratory of Systems Biology at Tallinn University of Technology helps turn complex cellular measurements into clear, decision-ready answers. We combine advanced experiments with quantitative analysis and mathematical modeling to reveal how cells function, respond to treatment, and change in disease.

## Applied Testing Services

### Drug Candidate Testing: Ion Channels and Membrane Electrophysiology

Assessment of drug candidate effects on ion channels, transporters, pumps, ionic currents, and membrane potential. This service uses [Electrophysiology and cellular function](https://sysbio.taltech.ee/services/electrophysiology) to determine whether a candidate produces a meaningful functional effect.

### Drug Candidate Testing: Cellular Metabolism and Bioenergetics

Evaluation of drug candidate effects on cellular metabolism, mitochondrial function, and energetic regulation.
